About the position
Your Responsibilities
- Turn machine learning proof of concepts into robust products for real-time analysis of measurements on edge devices and backend systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable ML pipelines and data processing components for the analysis of high-volume sensor data and drive engineering best practices in the team.
- Build and maintain CI/CD workflows and automated tests for ML applications, ensuring reliability and reproducibility.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, platform engineers, data engineers, and domain experts to shape system architecture and ensure ML solutions integrate cleanly into the overall product landscape.
Job Requirements
Your Profile
- You hold a technical degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related field, or you bring equivalent practical experience.
- You have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or ML engineering, including experience with production ML or other data-intensive systems.
- You have excellent programming skills in Python and write structured, maintainable, and efficient code.
- You have advanced programming skills in at least one statically typed language (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, Java).
- You have a deep understanding of the MLOps lifecycle, including data and model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- You are experienced with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines and apply modern testing practices to ML-driven systems.
- Ideally, you have experience with operating ML-based applications in production, including monitoring model quality, drift detection, and incident handling.
- Ideally, you have worked with real-time or near-real-time applications, streaming data, or IoT scenarios and understand the constraints of edge deployments
