About the position

We are looking for Java GUI Developers to support the development of software used for instrument control. The ideal candidates should have an interest in hardware-related work or software connected with scientific or technical instruments.

This role is not best suited for developers whose experience is mainly limited to databases, banking software or web shops. The instruments can be operated via Remote Desktop sessions.

Requirements:

Experience with Java development
Experience or strong interest in GUI development
Ideally, strong experience with Eclipse RCP
Affinity towards instrument control software
Interest in hardware-related work
Openness to working with software connected to physical instruments
For Junior candidates: strong mindset and personality
For Senior candidates: solid Java experience and ideally Eclipse RCP expertise

Candidate profile: We are open to both experienced Java Developers and Junior Developers. For experienced candidates, Eclipse RCP experience would be a strong advantage. For Junior candidates, the most important factors are mindset, personality and motivation to work on technical, hardware-related software.
