Time Planner

Start date: As soon as possible  Duration: 12 months with possibility to extend Location: Bromma, Stockholm (with regular site visits between Akalla and Skärholmen) Hours per week: 40

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Time Planner for our client in Stockholm, leading one of Sweden’s large ongoing construction projects. This is a key role in the project, ensuring that time schedules are accurate, realistic, and clearly communicated both internally and to their public client. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consortium partners, and site teams to secure timely and coordinated delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the consortium’s overall time planning, including alignment of multiple planners and stakeholders.
• Maintain, update, and analyze project schedules in Primavera or Powerproject, with a focus on infrastructure project planning.
• Present and discuss time plans directly with the public client, representing the project management team.
• Investigate actual progress on site together with production teams and integrate findings into updated schedules.
• Identify sequences, dependencies, and critical activities, and aggregate complex schedules into clear, logical overviews.
• Monitor and report on design, installation, system testing, and site testing progress up to handover.
• Provide schedule-based risk analysis, contributing to the project’s risk register, and work with the Commercial Manager and claims team on potential impacts.
• Support economic forecasts by linking time progress to commercial outcomes.

• Proven track record as a time planner in large infrastructure projects
• Strong proficiency in Primavera or Powerproject.
• Experience working with public clients
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple planning functions across a consortium.
• Skilled in managing subcontractors and international clients in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how planning impacts project costs and claims.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex schedules into actionable insights.
