About the position

The role of a Bauleiter with a focus on excavation in our organization is closely linked to leading and supervising the construction project and ensuring that it is completed successfully in accordance with predefined goals and requirements. It is a key person who plays a central role in ensuring that the construction project is carried out efficiently and meets the overall goals of the organization. You spend most of your working time on site in the project.

Bauleiter has the main responsibility for leading and supervising the construction process within our fiber projects. This includes ensuring that the workplace adheres to strict safety and health and safety standards, as well as coordinating and supervising all construction activities.

The Bauleiter is also responsible for conducting quality checks and ensuring that the design work meets specified standards. By managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, Bauleitern ensures an efficient collaboration process and that deliveries are made according to agreed terms. In addition, the Bauleiter documents progress, deviations, and issues, as well as produces regular reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project's construction activities and any challenges. In conclusion, the Bauleiter is the key person to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of the construction phase within the project. Operational work:

A Bauleiter is expected to spend the majority of their working time, around 70-80%, in the field with the excavation teams to directly supervise and direct the work on the project site. In addition to this, the role also involves gathering and organizing documentation in the office, which is an important part of ensuring the project's compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:


• Detailed planning of daily operations: The Bauleiter is responsible for planning and organizing daily tasks and activities regarding all excavation work on the construction site. This includes scheduling work tasks, assigning resources, and monitoring progress.
• Technical requirements and ensure proper documentation: The bauleiter must strictly follow UGG technical guidelines and narratives in all construction activities to ensure the highest possible build quality. This requires careful monitoring and validation of all construction
methods and materials used.
• Furthermore, the Bauleiter is responsible for correct and accurate documentation of the entire construction process, including taking the necessary photographs and drawing up documents that clearly show how work was carried out according to UGG standards. This is essential to meet the requirements for future audits and to ensure the project's compliance with applicable regulations and expectations.
• Resource coordination: The Bauleiter is responsible for coordinating and managing all resources needed for the construction project, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Inventory materials & ensure progress: The Bauleiter is responsible for taking stock and ensuring that the necessary materials are available and that progress is continuously achieved through efficient use of resources. It is important that Bauleiter ensures that materials are available for the work today, but also plans and anticipates several weeks ahead.
• Work & Safety: The Bauleiter must ensure that occupational health and safety laws and regulations are followed in the workplace to protect the health and safety of workers.
• Construction meetings and regulatory compliance: The Bauleiter attends internal construction meetings to report on progress, discuss any questions or concerns, and coordinate the next steps of the project.
• Permit Management: The Bauleiter is responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits and permits are in order before work begins to avoid legal or regulatory issues.
• Obstacle management: The Bauleiter identifies and addresses any obstacles or issues that may affect the progress or outcome of the project. This also includes ensuring that permits that may become problems in the future, such as bridges, railways or other sensitive areas, are handled well in advance of the start of excavation.
• Risk management: The Bauleiter identifies and evaluates potential risks and develops strategies to manage them to minimize damage or delays.
• Complaint handling: The Bauleiter handles any complaints or issues that may arise during the construction process and works to find solutions and maintain good relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Distribute Materials Between the Subcontractors: The Bauleiter is responsible for ensuring that materials are distributed efficiently among different subcontractors (UEs) to meet the requirements and schedule of the project.
• Condition of the establishment: The Bauleiter ensures that the establishment site and workplace are well maintained and clean to create a safe and organized work environment.
• Quality assurance: The bauleiter monitors and ensures that the work execution meets the requirements and standards set to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction. This also means close contact with QA.
• Satisfied villagers: The Bauleiter works to build and maintain good relationships with the local residents by listening to their concerns and needs and ensuring minimal disruption during the construction process
