About the Position

We are currently building our network of skilled IT professionals for upcoming assignments with a leading international research and technology organisation based in southern Sweden. The organisation operates a large-scale scientific research facility where advanced technology, engineering and digital infrastructure come together to support world-leading research. Its IT environment is complex, highly integrated and business-critical, with demanding requirements around reliability, security, availability and operational excellence.

We expect to have upcoming assignments within IT project management over the coming months and are therefore looking to connect with experienced IT Project Managers who are interested in future opportunities.

In this type of role, you may be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering software and IT initiatives from initiation through to handover to operations. You may work across multiple technical and business disciplines, ensuring that projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality expectations. The role may involve managing risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations, while ensuring effective governance, reporting and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on the initiative, you may work with agile, hybrid or traditional project management approaches. A key part of the role is ensuring that solutions are ready to transition into operations, including appropriate documentation, training and support arrangements.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and coordinating software and IT projects from initiation through to completion
  • Defining and managing project scope, schedules, budgets and resources
  • Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and changes
  • Coordinating activities across technical teams, business stakeholders and external parties
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout the project
  • Applying appropriate project management methods, such as agile, hybrid or waterfall
  • Establishing effective project governance, reporting and decision-making processes
  • Monitoring progress, timelines, costs and delivery against agreed objectives
  • Ensuring project outcomes meet agreed requirements and quality expectations
  • Coordinating testing, validation and acceptance activities where applicable
  • Preparing solutions for operational handover
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation, training and support arrangements are in place
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in project delivery processes and practices

This is an expression of interest for upcoming assignments rather than a specific open position. By submitting your application, you will be considered for relevant IT Project Management opportunities as they become available in the coming months.

Job Requirements

We are interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Several years of experience in IT project management or a similar role

  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets and resources
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and changes
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating and motivating stakeholders across different disciplines
