Within their advanced laundry laboratory, they are now looking for a Lab & EMC Engineer to strengthen their testing and development capabilities.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware, testing, and compliance, taking ownership of EMC-related lab activities. You will be involved in everything from designing test setups and developing test methods to executing tests and supporting engineering teams with expert insights. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys both practical lab work and technical problem-solving in a structured, standards-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop EMC test cases for appliances and sub-systems using LabVIEW with Q-Max as user interface
  • Create and maintain test manuals for EMC test methods
  • Design and configure test equipment using existing hardware (e.g. PLC systems, I/O boards, inverters) or develop customized solutions
  • Select sensors and hardware components for lab test environments
  • Produce technical documentation, including drawings, wiring diagrams, and component specifications
  • Take responsibility for test planning within development projects
  • Monitor and interpret updates in relevant EMC standards, and support lab teams with guidance
  • Perform EMC testing and compile complete test reports in accordance with applicable standards
  • Support lab technicians and engineers during testing, providing feedback and technical expertise

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, we see that you have:

  • Education within electrical/electronics engineering
  • Worked as a developer or within area of automation and control systems and/or EMC testing
  • Knowledge in any CAD tool for design of PCB and drawing wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge in basic MS Office 360 packages
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • Driving license for B category vehicles

As a person, you are open minded, honest, easy to deal with, willing to cooperate and learn, and ready to take initiative when it is missing from others.
