About the Position
For our direct client in Gothenburg we are seeking a Diagnostic Software Product Owner.
Startdate: ASAP Duration: 6 months with high possibilty for extension Hours per week: 40 Location: Onsite Gothenburg Language: English
Lead and take ownership of the diagnostic domain within inverter software development. Be responsible for requirements analysis based on OBD legislation, ISO standards, OEM requirements, and FMEA processes. Define and develop robust diagnostic monitoring strategies with a strong focus on stability and reliability. Translate and compile diagnostic requirements at both software and component levels. Design the diagnostic architecture in close integration with application software and basic software layers. Collaborate with system engineers, BSW engineers, and hardware engineers across teams in both China and Sweden regarding diagnostic functionality and implementation. Support the development of unit-level designs and prepare key deliverables such as OBD certification documentation and fault handling specifications. Contribute to diagnostic test planning and the development of test cases. Work closely with the test team to analyze issues and validate diagnostic functions. Additionally, support the interaction and alignment between Diagnostic and Functional Safety (FuSa) activities.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of OBDII, EOBD, J1979, J2012, and ISO 14229
- Good understanding of FMEA and FTA methodologies, with the ability to perform diagnostic analyses
- Advanced presentation and knowledge-sharing skills
- Solid understanding of electrified transmissions and electric drive units
- Experience with diagnostic work methodologies, audits, and assessments
- Hands-on experience in diagnostic monitor design for hybrid transmission systems
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR, particularly DEM and FIM components
