Commissioning Manager

We are searching for a Site Integration Manager (Commissioning Engineer Manager) for our client in Stockholm. Start: september Duration: 12 months to start, with a good possibility for extension Location: Stockholm, on site Our client is a global technology company delivering advanced solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects. As part of one of Sweden's most significant infrastructure developments, they are responsible for the installation, integration, and verification of critical electrical and technical systems within a major tunnel. We are now looking for a Site Integration Manager to lead the on-site integration and commissioning team at the construction site. In this role, you will manage a site team of two integration/commissioning engineers, and act as the primary point of contact for the site support team and the engineering team in the Netherlands. You will make sure that all separate installed sub-systems are connected to the automation system and function as one single system, and that everything is integrated, tested, verified, and documented according to specifications, safety requirements, and project standards before hand-over to the client. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role in a technically complex environment involving multiple integrated systems. You lead by example, staying close to the work: reviewing test results, supporting troubleshooting, unblocking your team, and keeping the connection with engineering in the Netherlands running smoothly. You make sure every system functions reliably before the project moves into its next phase. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team on a landmark infrastructure project, working with advanced technology in a collaborative and highly skilled engineering environment.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar technical role, with technical qualifications that match and go beyond those of a Commissioning Engineer.
- Experience leading or coordinating a technical team on site
- A strong technical understanding of electrical, control, or automation systems.
- Experience testing, verifying, commissioning, or troubleshooting technical systems in industrial, infrastructure, transportation, energy, manufacturing, or similar environments.
- The ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
- Experience documenting test results, deviations, and verification activities in a structured manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues on site.
- The ability to act as a point of contact between the site team, the site support team, and the engineering team in the Netherlands.
- Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

It is considered an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Large infrastructure, transportation, tunnel, railway, or road projects.
- Electrical power distribution, PLC-based control systems, SCADA, communication systems, or other integrated technical systems.
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, or system integration.
- Working in safety-critical or highly regulated technical environments.
- Electrical standards, low-voltage systems, or industrial automation.
