About the Position

Your goal is devising, developing, monitoring and securing a variety of cloud solutions. As a Cloud Engineer, you will become a crucial link between our Technical Management department and external Microsoft parties, with whom we work closely to take our IT environment to the next level. Projects that you will immediately take on include merging Microsoft tenants, improving our 365 environment and linking new products to various PaaS and SaaS platforms.

What will you do in the role of Cloud engineer?

  • Technical link between Maandag IT and external parties: You oversee the bigger picture and make sure everything fits together. From the website to our new IT platform components – you make the links between external systems and our own IT environment. In addition, you clean up outdated systems so that we can work more efficiently.
  • Microsoft 365 support: You handle 2nd and 3rd line incidents and think along about the technical strategy. What can we do ourselves and where do we call in external help? Your insights are essential to reduce our dependence on third parties.
  • Technical support of helpdesk and functional management: As an expert in Microsoft technology, you provide support where needed. This can vary from questions from the data team to helping the helpdesk with complex issues.
  • Thinking along with the construction of our Azure platform: Our Azure platform is the hub where all our products come together. Although this is developed by an external party, you play an important role in thinking about flows and system integrations. Your expertise ensures seamless cooperation between the different systems.
  • Coordination with external parties: When there are problems with applications, you are the coordinating factor. You interact with external partners and monitor the progress of solutions.
  • Help desk training: You will contribute to the growth of our helpdesk employees by training them to become Microsoft experts. This ensures that the knowledge remains in-house and that we can work more efficiently.
