About the Position
For our end client in Gothenburg we are looking for an Basic Software Engineer. Startdate: ASAP Duration: 6 months with high possibilty for extension Hours per week: 40 Location: Onsite Gothenburg Language: English Design and develop advanced platform software, including low-level and middleware solutions, for powertrain electronic control units (ECUs), covering the entire process from prototype development to production release. Contribute throughout the full software product development lifecycle, including prototyping, requirements analysis, architectural and detailed design, effort estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration testing, documentation, as well as design and code reviews.
Develop software solutions based on AUTOSAR architecture for electronic control units. Provide design, development, and debugging support to ensure successful integration of individual functions into the control unit environment. Take responsibility for the development of highly reliable and safety-critical components for electric vehicles.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in software version control systems such as SVN and Git
- Experience leading Scrum teams in Agile development Environments
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Familiarity with issue tracking, configuration management, and test management Tools
- Hands-on experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues
- Excellent Embedded C programming skills, including solid understanding of compiler and linker behavior
- Good knowledge of operating system coding techniques, communication protocols (UART, CAN, SPI, LIN), hardware interfaces, and embedded subsystems
- Experience developing low-level drivers for microcontroller peripherals such as DI, DO, ADC, DAC, Timers, PWM, DMA, Watchdog, etc.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
