About the Position
- Software design and architecture follow industry best practices and meet current and future business needs.
- Alignment between business goals and technical requirements.
- Architecture design must be aligned and approved with responsible architects from our customer
- Overall system performance.
- Designing system architecture and developing prototypes.
- Propose changes to existing or missing coding and style guidelines.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure that the specification is understood both by the business and the developers.
- Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
- Supervise the development according to architecture design.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to refine project requirements and timelines.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, -Review and -Retrospective cere-monies.
- Strong collaboration with customer internal architects and application manager
Key competences:
- Profound technical skills and experience in software architecture, design patterns and coding standards.
- Strong strategic thinking, ability to understand both technical and business perspectives.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business and IT.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
Job Requirements
MUST HAVE skills and experience:
At least 3 years of professional experience as a Software Architect/Lead Developer with the following technologies in projects with at least 3 developers (frontend and/or backend) in projects of similar complexity from the last 5 years:
- Java
- Quarkus
- Kafka
- WebComponents
- MS SQL
- Kubernetes
All of the experiences are necessary (must have).
English language skills: Level C1 or higher
NICE TO HAVE:
At least 3 years of professional experience as developer with the following technologies in projects with at least 3 developers (frontend and/or backend) in projects of similar complexity from the last 5 years.
- Frontend Framework (React)
- Workflow Automation (Camunda)
- Observability tools
- German language skills
- Software architecture certification ISAQB or comparable certification
- Use of the development platform Maven / Github.
- Experience with agile methods
- Experience in planning and implementing stepwise migration of legacy systems
- Experience in applying architecture patterns such as BFF (Backend for Frontend) and Strangler
- Experience in establishing code Ownership per Microsevice
- Experience with governance processes for version control and interfaces
- Experience with communication strategies between teams and Microservices
- Experience with training concepts for handover to internal teams
- Experience with observability architecture and application performance monitoring
