About the Position
We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js (Express or Nest.js) to join our team. In this role, you will work on distributed applications, leveraging AWS services and Kafka for messaging. You will write scalable, high-performance code, ensure robust unit testing, and contribute to architecture and design improvements. Familiarity with React and UI extensions is a plus. The ideal candidate thrives in an Agile environment, proactively resolves issues, and communicates effectively in English with international teams.
Job Requirements
- Showing 4+ years of experience in Node.js with Express or Nest.js
- Familiar with React
- Versed in AWS services
- Confident in unit testing
- Experienced in distributed applications implementation with message broker (primarily Kafka)
- Skilled in writing scalable, highly performant, instrumented, and clean code
- Keen on requirements interpretation, architectures, and designs refining
- Good at extending UIs using existing templates and designs
- Anticipating and remediating issues before reaching out to customers
- Knowledgeable of design patterns and their applications
- Accustomed to working in Agile development environments
- Capable of maintaining daily English communication with client-side software engineers
- Familiar with RabbitMQ (would be a plus)
