About the Position
Start: January 2026 Duration: Full time 40 h/week, until August 2026 Location: Stockholm, hybrid work model
We are looking for a developer on behalf of a client working with technology-driven logistics and automation solutions. The company develops systems that combine software, hardware, and third-party technologies to support efficient operational processes across several sectors.
In this role, you will be part of a small and experienced development team where you will contribute across a broad technical stack, including backend development, integrations, frontend components, and Python-based services. The environment offers short decision paths, close collaboration with other teams, and strong opportunities to influence both technical direction and daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve backend services built primarily in Java
- Work with Python-based components and various automation tools
- Support the development of frontend features using JavaScript/HTML
- Further develop internal solutions and the logistics platform
- Take part in architectural discussions, problem-solving, and ongoing technical improvements
- Collaborate closely with fellow developers, product teams, and other internal stakeholders
Job Requirements
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Solid background in software development, ideally with senior-level expertise in Java
-Practical experience working with Python, and familiarity with C/C++ environments
-Competence in JavaScript/HTML, and preferably exposure to frameworks like Angular or Qt
-Academic education in IT, computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline
-Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English (a Scandinavian language is a plus)
-A structured, analytical approach and the ability to work independently
-Meritorious if you have experience working with systems used within healthcare and hospitals
