About the position

We’re looking for an experienced IT Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst to join our team working with large datasets, data analysis, and IT solution design in the credit risk domain. You’ll act as the crucial bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into actionable solutions and ensuring high data quality and compliance within the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights supporting business and IT development teams
- Act as the interface between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business requirements into high-level and low-level technical designs
- Create, review, and refine requirement specifications and solution designs
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL to validate data against business rules and requirements
- Support and validate functional testing, including user testing (UT), system testing (ST), and end-to-end UAT
- Ensure solutions meet both business objectives and technical feasibility
- Participate in the full IT SDLC process, ensuring traceability from requirements through to testing and deployment
- Document processes, support test case creation, and verify results against expected outcomes
Job Requirements
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 3-4 years working specifically as an Analyst (IT Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst)
- Strong background in banking or financial services
- Advanced data analysis experience using SQL
- Proven experience working within credit risk
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; confident in managing stakeholders
- Solid understanding of IT SDLC processes and how analysis fits into each phase
- Comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with SAS or Python for advanced data analysis
- Ability to independently convert business requirements into high-level and low-level solution designs
- Experience creating and executing functional test cases
- Ability to support testing phases, including UT, ST, and end-to-end UAT
