Senior Financial Controller

As Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for reporting and charting the financial position of Maandag®. 

By keeping an overview of the financial administration and implementing a careful financial process, you will easily achieve your goal: accurate and reliable financial information. You consolidate financial data and we are looking for someone in our new Senior Financial Controller with a critical and keen eye on our figures.

The team you will join as Senior Financial Controller consists of 2 (Senior) Financial controllers and 2 Senior Business Controllers. The team is passionate about numbers and love a challenge. In this team, we are looking for someone who also likes to think out of the box. A creative mind that keeps looking critically at our current processes and loves to build.

• You will supervise various audits and have a steering role in them;
• Managing financial reports and reporting of financial records;
• Consolidating financial data using Lucanet software;
• Our ambition also extends beyond our Dutch borders, which you will also be involved in;
• Assessing the financial impact of disease cases;
• Critically assessing figures and ensuring accuracy and reliability;
• Maintain overview of financial records and ensure integrity and diligence;
• Analysing and interpreting complex financial information;
• Preparation of periodic reports, and financial statements and budgets;
• Timely and accurate closure of monthly, quarterly and annual processes. 

• At least a completed Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline;
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience as (Senior) Financial Controller;
• You can free up at least 32 hours in your diary;
• Good knowledge of financial laws and regulations;
• Experience with reporting and accounting;
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills;
• Integrity and diligence in handling confidential information.
